Self Threading Needles

The needle eye is gold plated and includes a V-shaped top to help the thread slide down into the eye.

These are great for burying loose threads in your project. Terrific to use if you have trouble threading needles.

A regular needle has an eye at the head through which you poke your thread end, threading the needle.  A self-threading needle has a v-shaped notch at the top that you lay the thread across and pull through the tiny gap into the eye. The thread pops into place.
